Dr. Seuss

My class was filled with SEUSS during the week leading up to the anniversary of the birthday of Dr. Seuss. In fact we celebrated all week. One of the I created doubled as a Seuss theme and a math project. My kids had fun creating their ABAB, ABCABC patterned hats and then making number sentences to accompany them. I took the pictures before we had our number sentences up. I will be sure to get pictures of the number sentences next time. This was a fun activity that lent itself nicely to our math standards. Easy, colorful, great decorations, and educational....What else could you want. You can find the instructions and templates for this project on my TEACHERS PAY TEACHERS site.  Check out this link: Dr. Seuss (CAT IN THE HAT) Math Patterning
